01 · The Story

Fifty-three carats of Colombia, gathered in one house.

The name references the trapiche emerald, a rare growth phenomenon found only in Colombia. These stones are not trapiche by type, but by provenance: from the same geological zone, acquired across several seasons, matched not to a specification but to an ideal.

The necklace carries a GRS certificate issued in 2006; the earrings and ring are supported by GUB (Gübelin Gem Lab) and ICA reports. Three of the most exacting laboratories in the world have affirmed what the eye already knows.

A parure of this weight, over 53 carats combined, in stones of this quality will not be repeated in the ordinary course of trade.

A note from the house

“The 21.08-carat necklace stone is the finest Colombian emerald to have passed through the house in over a decade.”

03 · From the Workshop

Built around the stone, never the other way.

Each of the four trapiche stones presented an irregular natural cross-section that required a custom collet. The house lapidary built each setting individually, no two identical, accommodating the spoke pattern without obscuring it.
